The first Anni collection we did was in 2019, two years after we launched our inaugural collection consisting of just one style in three colors via Instagram from our Marymount studio. At that point, we didn't think we would get this far. Following it was a year of many anxieties and firsts. Shopkeeper went full-time and started the capital. There were a lot of things beyond her understanding that she needed to figure out. Numbers, partnerships and propositions to determine in order to sow a favorable foundation for our brand to be rooted and grow. Looking back, we are thankful for one another and also for your support that made it possible for us to be able to celebrate our third Anniversary this year.
If you happen to find yourself in a similar position as how we started, we hope that you will be brave. If an opportunity does not present itself, fight for one. We hope that you will be surrounded by wise counsel, amazing friends and family members that will never allow you to let go of your dreams for anything less and for immense favor that will follow you where ever you go.
